Radja Nainggolan snubs Man United and Chelsea as he Pens New Deal to Stay In Rome #91

Rome, Italy

Transfer Wizard Monchi has been doing good business all summer for Roma despite selling three key players in Rudiger (Chelsea), Salah (Liverpool) and Paredes (Zenit) he has pulled off 8 signings while spending just 60 Million so far impeccable businesses for Roma. However this might be the biggest one of them all. Radja Nainggolan widely known as Serie A’s best player despite amid interest from Premier League Giants Manchester United and Chelsea has decided to stay put signing a new and improved contract to show his loyalty to the Romans. His new deal consists of an additional year added to his current deal with the contract lasting until the 2021 season signing a brand new 4-year deal. Radja will also get a massive pay increase in salary the Belgium International will earn 4 Million euros per season making the midfielder the highest paid player at the club according to reports there will not be a buyout clause included in the new deal Radja finally gets what he wants as he had expressed a desire for a new deal many times this season Monchi and Roma have delivered on what they promised. This almost feels like a brand new signing because of the magnitude of his importance to the Giallorossi side this season. This may be premature but it seems like he is becoming the new Totti in terms of his loyalty. Last season he had a chance to join a Chelsea team that won the Premier League to stay in Roma; and this season we have seen Rudiger, Salah and Paredes all leave the club and all of those players had expressed love for the club but they still left. Radja stayed loyal to the club and the city and has represented the Roma brand to the fullest. The offers will continue to come for the years to come but given the fact he has already rejected Manchester United and Chelsea makes me think he will a Roma player for the long term. He will continue to attract interest and teams will continue to try to persuade him away from Roma but due to the loyalty he has shown walking away from clubs like that it in some way shows how much he loves the club. The new deal takes him out of the market now Monchi can start building around Serie A’s best player the Belgium International has won the Giallorossi player of the season two years running. upon signing his new deal this is what he had to say “I think I have demonstrated that this is what I always wanted,” Nainggolan said. “So I’m very happy, especially that the club and I can continue our adventure and move forward together.” Nainggolan joined Roma in January 2014 from Cagliari, and has so far made 161 appearances for the club – scoring 27 goals. A deal was agreed with Roma president James Pallotta and Roma Sporting Director Monchi as the finalized the paperwork in Boston as Roma is on their US tour preparing to take on Juventus on Sunday. The Roma president was very happy to keep him this is what he had to say “We’re delighted Radja has committed his long-term future – and the most important years of his career – to the club.
Last season, he was arguably one of the best midfielders in the world and it’s no surprise that he was linked with some of the biggest clubs in Europe. But there was never any question of him going elsewhere – he loves Roma and we love having him here.”
Now that the deal is done Roma and Monchi will continue to pursue Leicester City winger Ryaid Marhez a bid of 32 Million has been submitted the Algerian midfielder remains Roma’s top priority and Roma plan to have the deal wrapped up by August 11th. This is a massive deal Italy’s best stays! As Roma can start to build around him as he has shown the loyalty Totti showed has rubbed off on him.

Prior to joining Roma he spent him entire career prior to that in Italy playing Piacenza and Cagliari before joining Roma. Raja Nainggolan has light up the Stadio Olimpico from the last 4 years really became a key player over the last few seasons. He Joined Roma from Cagliari in the winter transfer window during the 2013-2014 season on an initial season loan with a 9 million buy option. In Radja’s first season during his loan spell he went on to make 20 appearances scoring two goals taking his total season player to four goals that season. Roma did very well for themselves finishing 2nd with 85pts posting a record of 26-7-9 considering Radja only had half a season at Roma he did very well it was clear that he was ready to play for a big club. Roma agreed he was ready for that challenge as they wanted to sign him on a permanent basis. The Italian giants made it happen as the Giallorossi purchased him outright on a 6 million deal which now seeing what he has become as a player is an absolute robbery of a deal 6 million for a player that now his considered one of the best midfielder’s in the world. In Radja’s second season at Roma after completing him permanent move after spending a loan in Rome during the second half of the previous season Radja had a career season. He wasn’t quite thought of as one of the key player going into the season but he made people realize his potential as he still played a key part of the 2014-2015 Serie A campaign the Belgium International consolidated himself as one of the best players in the league that season. He scored 5 goals in 46 games that season an excellent full debut season Radja played a big part in the league and in Europe that season. Roma again ended up in second of the second year running earing 70 pts in the league with a record of 19-13-6 at the end of the year he was picked for Serie A’s team of the season. He was the only Roma player selected in a Juventus dominated team he really started blooming as a player despite being already 27 he had shown that he has what it takes to rip up this league. After missing out on the World Cup the previous summer he showed what a big mistake that was as he would have a break out season and he would only get better. The next season Radja did even better has he continued to improve and a very stellar campaign from the season before. Radja would go on to score a career best 6 goals in 42 appearances for the club during the 2015-2016 season. In Europe the team did quite well despite having drawn the same champions’ league group as Barcelona they managed to get second in their group as they would make the knockout stage for the first time in a few years unfortunately for Roma they drew Real Madrid in the Round of 16 and lost 2-0 in both games. In the league Roma struggled and went through transitions having Head coach Rudi Garcia replaced by Luciano Spalletti Radja really flourished under Spalletti as he become one of the best players in the league that seaosn. However Roma ended up in 3rd with 80 points a lot better from the season before but still wasn’t good enough Roma posted a record of 23-11-4. Following the season Radja Nainggolan was once again named to the Serie A team of the season along with than teammate Pjanic. Prior to this last season Radja was selected for Belgium’s Euro 2016 squad heading to France his hard work paid off. He scored two wonder goals against Sweden and against Wales in the last eight. Radja Nainggolan would have a chance to join Chelsea but he preferred a Roma stay. Prior to the season Roma faced Porto in the Champions League playoff but lost 4-1 over two legs as Roma would now have to settle for Thursday nights in the Europa league. Their historical campaign would take off begin arguably the Greatest season in Roma football history. Despite Pjanic betraying the club that has always supported him to join the Enemy Juventus Roma during The 2016-2017 season turned out to be one of the best seasons in Roma’s history they did nothing but break records. Their attack was absolutely lethal with the Attack of Nainggolan, Salah and Dzeko the team accounted for 123 goals in all competitions and 90 goals in the league as Roma were one of the best attacking teams in world football last season becoming one of the strongest teams in Europe. Their attack was lead my Edin Dzeko who scored in every competition winning the golden boot last season with 29 goals in the league and broke Totti’s record for the most goals in a season for Roma racking up a career best 39 goals and was named as Serie A’s best player. Last year turned out to be a record breaking season for Roma as well they would set bench marks in several areas including Points, wins, away wins, Goals scored and many more there was also a few personal records broken as well a season in which Roma looked like title challengers for most of the year with Radja playing a big part of that having a career year himself becoming the best player in Serie A. In last year’s campaign he scored 15 goals in 46 appearances and most of his goals were simply put breath taking. It wasn’t just his scoring but excelled as a passer as well as playing a big part defensively as he racked up a lot of tackles and interceptions. Roma as team did exceptionally well but due to a few slip ups it led to Juventus becoming champions of Italy for the 6th season in a Row. However they were some very positive things about last year’s season a season in which Roma were able to return to the champion’s league in one of the tightest races for second we have seen with Roma and Napoli fighting it out over the last few months with Roma ultimately getting it on the last day of the season thanks to a 90 Minute goal from Perotti in a come from behind win against Genoa on Totti Day.  After the season he was named to the Serie A team of the Season along with Dzeko for the 3rd year in a row. This summer coming off his best season he attracted interest from Inter Milan, Manchester United and Chelsea again. He saw several roma players leave this summer but despite all that he had that loyalty to the club that has always supported him. Radja is very happy about remaining a Roma player as he has expressed on multiple occasions that he always wanted to say. The Roma president had some very kind things to say about Radja’s new deal: “We’re delighted Radja has committed his long-term future – and the most important years of his career – to the club,” Roma president James Pallotta said. He went on to “Last season, he was arguably one of the best midfielders in the world and it’s no surprise that he was linked with some of the biggest clubs in Europe. “But there was never any question of him going elsewhere – he loves Roma and we love having him here.” Keeping him in Rome is easily the biggest signing of the season as Radja is already the best player in Italian football.

Monchi having already signed 8 players this season as well as Radja locking up a new and improved contract it almost feels like a new signing but it isn’t unlike many of the new signings Radja knows Roma and Serie A very well he won’t need to adapt to new atmosphere. He will likely play a similar role as he did a season ago there’s a new manager in town but it is unlikely that he will be moved out his natural position. He will be in all likelihood be deployed as a Central Midfielder can also play defensive mid due to his rare defensive tendency’s. However is unlikely to play defensive mid under Eusebio Di Francesco’s 4-3-3 formation. He is in my opinion the best player in the entire league and one of the top 10 best midfielders in the world. The reason is quite simple when you break it down there no player in the world like him I’m not saying he is the best in the world but as far as what he does and who he is there is no one in the world that plays like him. He was a bit of late bloomer to this stage but better late than never. Radja Nainggolan is arguably the most complete midfielder in world football he is a dynamic beast with rapid speed a mentally and physically tough footballer excels not only in the attack but is a tough tackling a hardworking and a very versatile a complete athlete. He possesses good vision, passing range, and excellent technique. Things he has always had in his game but this season he took it to another level he proved himself this year as a clinical finisher an absolute threat in front of goal but he’s probably most dangerous from large distances an absolute rocket of a shot immense power long rangers just seems to be what he likes. As a player he is a defensive genius like a Kante with great attacking abilities what pushes him over the edge is his effort extremely inspiring work ethic. He will continued to improve on the greatness that he is capable of he will be a key player and one of the vocal leaders for Roma’s midfield next season is ability to play multiple positions can play right into EDF’s plans as he ability to rotate spots could help EDF bring out their strongest team but I think he is most suited as a Center midfielder despite the ability to play CDM and on the wing. The energy he has on the pitch is very infections to those around him a very creative player with some fine-tuned tools the amount of his attributes are endless which is why this new deal is such a winner. Monchi is a wizard continuing his transfer magic 60 Million 8 signings New contracts for Kevin Strootman, Daniele De Rossi and now Radja Nainggolan effective business. Loyalty means everything in this City the best player in the league stays!
