In one of the matches of the weekend in Serie A as We see A.S Roma welcome Inter Milan to the Stadio Olimpico as Luciano Spalletti returns as the Former Roma manager prepares to take on his former employer. It what will be an emotional night for both sides considering what he has achieved in Rome. Both teams got their season off on the right with wins on Serie A’s opening weekend to start their respective campaigns. Inter Milan got an easy 3-0 win against a very dysfunctional Fiorentina side with goals from Mauro Icardi and Ivan Perisic and Roma got a very hard fought 1-0 win on the Road against a very tough Atalanta side with Aleksandar Kolarov scoring on his debut getting the game’s only goal. During last year’s campaign Roma did the double against the Milan giants winning 2-1 at home and 3-1 At the San Siro. It is a new look Roma and an New look Inter but I still feel Roma are the favorites in this game as they have the players capable of breaking down a Inter Milan side in rebuilding mode. Roma may look quite differently and may have lost key players over the summer but they still have the much better squad on their hands not to mention Radja Nainggolan is notoriously known as an Inter Killer as he scores against Inter quick frequently. Roma also has one of the most dangerous scorers in Europe in Edin Dzeko who scored a whopping 39 goals in all competitions Dzeko and Nainggolan will cause to many problems for Inter Milan with those weapons and a very strong defense and Keeper they should be able to win their home opener . As far as a tactical point of view Inter Milan’s defense can be quite vulnerable at times despite some defensive signings Roma can disrupt the Inter Defense with pace which is why starting El Shaarawy would be a very wise move against the Inter defense due to his pace. Inter will only be able to take so much Roma’s attack against Atalanta wasn’t the best but if they can get things going they should win this game. Not to say Inter can’t win this game because they can they do have Mauro Icardi and Ivan Perisic to their disposal who are two player makers that can score. Also Roma will be without Florenzi, Karsdorp, Bruno and Emerson as they are recovering from injuries however Inter Milan still have to deal with Manolas which isn’t an easy task. This also levels the playing field each team as two super stars Roma has Radja Nainggolan and Edin Dzeko and Inter has Icardi and Perisic whoever has the better game could be the difference. Something else that could play in Roma’s favor is the game is at the Stadio Olimpico which has proven to be a fortress for Roma over the last few seasons over the last two seasons they only have lost one game at home which was to Napoli at the end of last season. At home Roma are close to unbeatable which will be the difference in this game Inter Milan have the quality to beat this Roma side but this one should go roma’s way in what I expect to be a hard fought battle.
