Another Transfer update coming out of the Roma camp as Roma has entered the winter break. The Rumors have just been flying the last few days after Roma’s loss to Atalanta their is been speculation surrounding the future of several key players in this Roma side. It is a dangerous yet nerve-racking feeling epsically how this Roma team has played so far this season a key player leaving could potentially cost them the season its important that Roma are able to hold on to all the players they can. None the less their have been rumors regarding Kevin Strootman, Radja Nainggolan, Bruno Peres, Lorenzo Pellegrini as well as a few other rumors that is surely just part of a media stir up. The big rumor out of the Roma camp as been Kevin Strootman who according to reports is set to leave the Romans this January with Liverpool and Marseille interested their is currently going to be a 40 Million release clause put into his contract after next summer. So Roma is looking for about 35-40 Million for his services it also has been alleged that he has submitted a transfer request to force a move out side the Italian capital. I personally don’t know if there is any truth to this but Liverpool interest is very serious as Klopp called the player “Something Special” and with the money they have received for Countinho’s move to Barca they certainly have the fund to pull the deal off. Again I don’t know if he would leave considering he’s on record saying he really loves and appreciates the fans in Rome for sticking with him despite him having two major surgeries that kept him out of a few seasons. It would be a major blow for Roma he is a vital and important piece of the Roma midfield as a Roma fan I would be absolutely crushed by his departure. We will see what happens but it looks like this one could happen this month. Another player that has been linked with a move away is Brazilian Wingback Bruno Peres he has linked with a 9 Million move to Benfica. This one is a very likely possibility as he finds himself down on the pecking order since the arrival of Alex Kolarov from Man City this summer not to mention he lost his starting spot to Alexandro Florenzi and doesn’t seem like he will be getting it back. Chelsea has wanted Roma’s Belgium midfielder Radja Nainggolan for several years now Chelsea will go back in for him once again. Nainggolan recently got suspended for conduct issues it has since been resolved despite false rumors circling that he wants out. Roma’s sporting Director Monchi has said the player has accepted the punishment and will not be selling him. However Chelsea will try to poke this deal through in reality it will be very difficult for Chelsea to get the deal over the line not only because Roma have no interest in selling him but it would take probably around 70 million to get the deal done. It doesn’t seem like Roma will be budged on the future of the player especially if Strootman leaves Chelsea will try but Radja has rejected this move this once it is highly unlikely to happen he has also received an offer from China but this is also highly unlikely. Roma have also had their first player exit as they have sent Leo Castan out on loan to Cagliari has he doesn’t seem to be getting any game time this season. Another player Liverpool are attempting to Raid is Roma’s starting goalkeeper Alisson the Brazilian has been the best keeper in Serie A this season and Liverpool have goalkeeping issues so its not a shock however its just not going to happen. Roma cant afford to let go of him the player’s agent said that he has no interest in leaving the club anytime soon and that he would like to be in Rome long-term he insists he’s very happy in Rome. Alisson’s backup Łukasz Skorupski has been linked to a move to Crystal Palace Roma are said to be willing to part ways with him if a fair offer comes it he has spent the last two seasons with Empoli on loan. Edin Dzeko has been linked with a move to china but it is highly unlikely the Bosnian will go just a false rumor to stir the pot. On of the most coveted young players in Italy is Lorenzo Pellegrini the young Italian has a 27 million buy out clause and the likes of Man United and Chelsea are ready to pay it however the Midfielder who just returned to Roma for 10 million this summer is refusing to leave as he will reject any offer that comes. Which is a sense of relief given that fact he can slide into Kevin Strootman’s role if he leaves for Liverpool. Finally the last piece of news this week is Roma are going to make a run for former Torino defender Man United’s Matteo Darmian despite no offer being received quite yet he is Roma’s #1 target this January.
