As Roma brought in the additions of Ante Coric, Justin Kluivert, Marcano, Bryan Cristante, Nicolò Zaniolo, Davide Santon and Antonio Mirante. Monchi has done an excellent job brining in some really good players that will only add to an allready deep team. Its been one of the most active transfer windows Roma has had unlike a lot of Serie A teams this summer the Romans are getting a head up as Monchi continues to try to put together a team that can win the league next year. Making some of these moves have also lead to some departures of current Roma players. Monchi has had to make some really hard decisions this summer for the best interest of the club. Roma sold Radja Nainggolan to Inter Milan for 24 Million +Nicolò Zaniolo, Davide Santon. With both players have flown to Rome and completed their medicals to official join the club just a few days ago. Roma wasted no time in replacing Radja Nainggolan as Monchi had a plan in mind and a replacement ready as Roma had made contacts over Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Javier Pastore Monchi met with the players agent and representatives as both sides agreed on the deal rather accordingly Pastore was eager and exited for a new opportunity. While in Paris Pastore was stuck behind the 222 million man Neymar Jr the worlds most expensive player. He desired a move to Roma as he wanted a return to Serie A as he spent two seasons with Palermo at the beginning of his career. Monchi then began negotiating with PSG as he was going to use the money from the Nainggolan deal to fund the signing of Pastore. Once Radja Nainggolan was sold to Inter Milan the discussions between Monchi and PSG got underway as both sides agreed on a Fee fairly quickly. Roma only needed to agree on a fee with Paris a contract was allready agreed on by Pastore who reached an agreement with Roma prior to the deal being finalized. Roma eventually agree on a 24.7 Million deal with PSG as Monchi secured the services of an excellent player who can replace Nainggolan right away. After everything was agreed on from player as well as the clubs Javier Pastore flew to Rome international airport where he was greeted by Roma fans upon his arrival. The midfielder underwent his medical after arriving at Roma’s training facilities. Javier Pastore spent the last 7 years in Paris winning 16 trophies for PSG. The Argentine international signed a 5 Year deal going until 2023 he has been given the #27 shirt. Monchi has pulled off a lot of deals this summer but this one might be the best a top class midfielder adding to a team ready to challenging for the league. “I am very happy to be here at Roma is great to return to Italy, and to do it with such a great club. I hope to repay in full all the enthusiasm, support and affection that Roma fans have shown me already.” Javier Pastore said during his introduction press conference this week. Monchi also had some very nice things say calling him the most talent player he ever signed. “The signing of Javier makes me very happy – because we are talking about the sort of player who can excite the fans who he plays for in my career as a sporting director I have signed a lot of players, but Javier might just be the one with the most talent”. Roma sporting director Monchi said. Another fantastic signing by Monchi and this one that makes believe Roma have the ammo to dethrone Juventus. Gaining Zaniolo, Santon and now buying Pastore Roma from the Nainggolan deal Roma got the better deal Roma is gunning for Juventus and Roma just got a whole lost better.

Javier Pastore is one of the most creative midfielders in all of Europe. And he’s done well practically everywhere he’s been he’s been at a high level on a consistent basis for the majority of his career. Javier Pastore started football career in his home country of Argentina joining the Youth Academy of Argentina side Talleres he joined as a 13 year old and spent seven years in the club’s Youth Academy from 2002 to 2007 after lots of hard work he was developing into an exceptional midfielder he broke into the first team in 2007 he only made five appearances for the club during that season. His development in the Youth System paid off for the young midfielder however his time at the club will be very brief. The Following season he joined Huracan a club in the top Argentina football located in the neighborhood of Buenos Aires. Right out of the gate he showed the special ability that he had a very creative midfielder with excellent vision and Technical ability. In his first full season as a senior player he scored eight goals and supplied four assists in 30 matches for Huracan. Pastore ended up making waves in Argentina and Beyond Huracan finished 17th in the Argentinian League That season it was clear the young Pastore was destined for better things. He joined Serie A side Palermo A team that currently is in Serie B but during the time in which he joined they where one of the up-and-coming teams in Serie A. Pastore had a very good debut season in Italian football he had three goals and five assists in 35 games for Palermo team that finished fifth. In his second season for Palermo he took it up a notch making great improvements. He scored 11 goals and had seven assists during that second season they finished seventh That season and participated in the Europa League. At the end of the season he was named Serie A young player of the year in 2010. He was becoming one of the hot commodities in Italian football and it didn’t go unnoticed many of Europe’s best teams wanted to get their hands on Javier Pastore. Eventually French financial superpower PSG won the race for his signature on a 39 million transfer deal. Javier Pastore now was going to get a Champions League Football on a consistent basis playing for a team that could win trophies. In 2011 he joined PSG in his first season playing for the French Giants he scored 16 goals and supplied 8 assist as PSG finish second in the league narrowly missing out on the title. He was unbelievable during that first season he was look to build on that during that second season. He didn’t score as many goals in that second season in Paris but he was equally effective he scored 9 goals and had 13 assists as PSG won the league title. The next season he had a less-than-stellar performance as he played more of a defensive roll only scoring three times and assisting 4. Despite that PSG  defended their title the team also won two of France’s domestic trophies. The next year he looks like his self again scoring six goals dishing out another 13 proving to be one of the best players of the league. PSG won the league double and  Pastore was named to team of the season. It was arguably his best season in Paris he was nothing short of world class easily one of the best players in the league during that time. The rest of his time in Paris was up and down he had some good years and he had some not-so-good years but more good then bad. Pastore had the capability of operating in a defensive Midfield role so he didn’t always fill up the stat sheet. However nonetheless he had an incredible run in Paris for the French Giants. He won five League titles all Frances domestic cups throughout his remaining time in Paris. In Seven Seasons with the club he won 16 trophies scoring 45 goals dishing out 59 assists in a 265 appearances. During his last season the club brought in The world class Neymar jr. who coincidentally played the same position as the Argentine International but that’s how it goes. He’s still widely considered as one of the most underrated players in the world certainly one of the most gifted. He felt it was time to come back to Italy to play for one of their biggest clubs as he will start his new Journey with Eusebio Di Francesco and Roma.

Javier Pastore is a massive signing for Roma without a doubt the best and most important signing the Romans have made so far. He can come in and it immediately replace Radja Nainggolan who recently left for Inter Milan Roma have lost one of their most important players and still got better after selling him. There is no question in my mind that Pastore walks straight into Roma starting 11. He can fill the void left by Radja and I think he might fit the type of football that Eusebio Di Francesco plays. Roma’s tactician has customarily gone with the 4-3-3 formation with the assets and players that Roma have acquired so far this summer I think it is very likely he will change the formation. Javier Pastore is extremely talented and offensively speaking is tremendously skilled his eyes for the pass is as good as anyone his vision is exceptional. Having a player like Pastore will largely help the attacking options that Roma have to their disposal. Edin Dzeko always plays better with a world-class passer of the ball we saw that when Mohamed Salah was in Rome. You can make the argument that have Javier Pastore is a higher skilled passer and is a little more technical. His passing ability is what comes to mind when you think of the talented Argentine he has 75 assists in 10 seasons it doesn’t get much better than that. That’s not all he brings though he can score as well and is very technical in front of goal is scored 70 goals in his career he knows where the net is. I don’t expect him to be one of the top scorers on the team but he will get a fair amount of goals this season. This is what makes this player so special because he contributes as a passer as well as a scorer. He plays both sides he’s not as physical defensively as Radja Nainggolan was but he makes up for it with his other intangibles he adds a whole new dimension to this team. With this signing the Midfield has gotten incredibly strong with Superstar Bryan Cristante also signed this summer the two of them can create an absolute nightmare for opposing Defenders they will be the Kingpin of this Roma attack because they can control the pace that the game they can get opportunities to their teammates as well as take them themselves. This Duo is going to be so good in the Roma Midfield a position where Roma are top-heavy with Ante Coric Lorenzo Pellegrini Roma Captain Danielle De Rossi Kluivert Under and many more not all of those players play in the Center Midfield but their Midfield unit is as good as anyone going into this season. This is such an important signing and 24 million is a good amount of money but it is an absolute bargain in this market for a player of this quality. While he may be 29 years old Roma can get a chunk of years out of him. This is a title defining signing this deal makes Roma legitimate contenders. Javier Pastore tends to use short passing to create space to Launch his world class through balls He also has incredible ball control which will get him time and space to operate very intelligent passes. A guy like that in the Midfield makes Roma extremely dangerous this team is only going to get stronger as the window continues he’s come here to win and he is a massive piece of the puzzle Roma just got a lot better in terms of quality the discrepancy between Juventus and roma isn’t that large the Gap is small and Roma are gathering the pieces to take down the Giant.
