Roma Transfer Round Up #302

The transfer window coming to a close in a few weeks’ time as teams attempt to close shop on their business. Roma has done a extremely well as the Romans have been very active throughout this summer. Transfer wizard Monchi and Roma president James Palotta have lured top class talent to the Stadio Olimpico while being forced to make tough but ultimately right decision throughout this process. Roma have brought in youngster’s Justin Kluivert (Ajax), Nicolo Zaniolo (Inter),Ante Coric (Dinamo Zagreb) and (Willam Bianda). Potential superstars in Byran Cristiane from Atalanta, a Serie A return for Javier Pastore. Roma also brought in defensive veterans Davide Zanton (Inter) and Ivan Marcano (FC Porto) as well as world cup star Swedish goalkeeper Robin Olsen. Roma did sell Radja Nainggolan to Inter and Alisson to Liverpool for a world record fee. Tough choices to make but at the end of the day they made Decisions that were in the best interest of the club. Despite all that Roma had arguably the second best transfer window in Italy after Juventus who signed Crisitano Ronaldo. Monchi has been pulling off moves all summer but he isn’t done yet as transfer speculation only continues as we get closer to the start of the season. As reported last week Roma will be taking Bouaraux to court over mishandling the Maclom deal to Roma that collapsed. Malcom was set to sign for Roma after an agreement was stuck between Roma and Bordeaux with Malcom set to fly to Rome to complete the deal. The deal was by all accounts done despite that the French club cancelled the deal shown great unprofessionalism cancelling a deal that was already done which is not actually legal as joined barca who unethically intervened on the deal. Monchi has decided that Roma will use legal action as Roma are looking for punishments applied to Bordeaux. Monchi has redirected his attention towards other wingers as alternatives to Malcom. Monchi has targeted Bayern Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey and Ajax winger David Neves as potential replacements who would be viewed as better players then Malcom. Both players would cost a minimum of 40 Million but Roma aren’t in shortage of cash having just sold Alisson for a world record. Monchi and James Pallotta met with the agent of Alexandro Florenzi this week as the club continues to talk about a contract renewal. Florenzi’s agent also represents AC Milan Winger Suso and Juventus wingers Juan Cuadrado. Monchi has inquired about both players as Monchi’s is interested in them as well as he tries to bring in another winger before the season starts. Being his relationship with the agent it is very possible that Monchi could pull it off it at least gives Roma a advantage over other possible suitors for the two. Monchi is in the process is on the verge of bringing in another piece to the Roma midfield. It has been reported that Roma have stuck a deal with Sevilla over world cup winner Steven N’zonzi. Monchi brought him to Sevilla in 2015 while a sporting director of the Laliga side. It is appears that Roma have beaten Arsenal for his signature. Roma have struck a deal 25 + bonus for the midfielder. However the deal wont be pulled off until Maxime Gonalons is sold but if Roma could add him to addition to a winger they will put immense pressure on Juventus.
