In this generation there haven’t been many strikers as consistent as Edin Dzeko. He is the only striker ever to have 50+ league goals in three of top five leagues in Europe having scored 66 goals with Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga, 50 goals in the Premier league for Manchester City and 53 goals in Serie A with Roma. He has also won the golden boot twice becoming the Bundesliga’s top goal scorer in 2009-2010 and was the Serie A top goal scorer in 2016-2017 season. He has been a proven goal scorer through his career he’s a solid 20+ goal scorer. Not just his goals but as a player he has developed into a complete striker not only domestically but in the Europa league and the champions league as well. Even at the age of 32 he constantly scored in big games he has decreased in goals but still managed to score 24 goals last season proving to continually be one of the top 10 strikers in the world. He is extremely strong and physical player who plays the perfect role as the number 9. Everything you need in your striker with his 6’5 frame he is extremely dangerous in the air known how to perfectly direct his head on crossing coming into the box and set pieces coming off corners and free kicks. He often position himself in the right place to have the highest chance of score. He also is a very underrated dribbler passer and has very good ball control for a player his size. He has pretty good clinical ability as well but his complete set of skills offers more value than with clinical striker who scores loads of goals because of his ability to many things Dzeko takes a lot of touches inflicting his domaince on the game has great leadership’s skills he’s got in all. This package of skills has been influence in three titles in Germany and England. He won the Bundesliga with Wolfsburg which currently sound crazy but at the time that Wolfsburg team was amazing. Then he won two premier league titles in England with HIGH FLYING Manchester City as well as several other trophies. He has concered the league title in both England and Germany Dzeko has scored loads of goals and broke lots of Record Dzeko cuerrely is in the top 15 all-time Roma top scorers Roma need to win something to justify Dzeko Greatness at this club to become a true Roma legend.

We are in the year of 2018 and  at this current time edin dzeko is statistically one of the best strikers Roma have ever had. When he calls it a career and I believe he will end his European career here in Rome he will be and the top 10 highest goal scorers in the history of Roma maybe even top 5. Edin dzeko has scored 73 goals and 139 games in three seasons. The Bosnian International is currently 11th and Roma’s all time scoring list number 10 on the list is Giuseppe Giovanni who only has two more goals then Dzeko in three times as many games. His goals to games ratio for this club is unbelievable and I believe by the time he finishes his career here he will be considered one of the best strikers Roma has ever had. Despite how great he has been for Roma it didn’t start off this well. Edin dzeko arrival from Manchester City on a loan in 2015 which now looks like one of the best deals in history only cost Roma 15 million. He was coming off winning two League titles in England with Manchester City having also won the league title in Germany with Wolfsburg. The idea was that his arrival was the player they needed to push Roma to the first league title since 2001. Edin dzeko had a bit of a shaky start to life in Serie A. Edin dzeko and Mohamed Salah both arrived that summer to give Roma a push. Edin dzeko had a really hard time in that first season under Rudi Garcia. It was expected that he would hit the ground running and score loads of goals the excitement of edin dzeko couldn’t have been clearer everyone was excited to see the Bosnian in Roma colors. A very poor opening season for edin dzeko as he failed to live up to the expectations surrounding him when he arrived. He picked it up during the second half of the Season under Luciano Spalletti scored in the the Roman Derby twice but unfortunately finished the season with just 10 goals in all competitions as of Roma finished 3rd in the league. The Following season he exceed expectations that were laid upon him when he joined the team. Before that it was rumored that he would be leaving the club despite the interest of teams in England and Germany Dzeko decide to stay and prove to the fans that he could be a crucial part of the team. During the preseason Edin dzeko was sensational scoring 17 goals during the preseason despite the fact that it was against some pretty bad teams it gave Roma a reason to be hopeful that Dzeko could be a top player in this league. Having had success in England and in Germany the understanding was he would get it together and the same in Italy the ability and the potential was there because we’ve seen him do it the Premier league AND Bundesliga. During the 2016-2017 season Edin Dzeko had the best season of his entire career. It turned out to be the last season of Roma icon Francesco Totti. What would edin dzeko do during that season? smash his goal scoring record. It was statistically the best season Roma have ever had as they nearly touched silverware for the first time since 08. Roma earned 87 points which is the most amount of points they had ever earned it during a campaign. Edin Dzeko Mohamed Salah and radja nainggolan turn Roma into one of the most dangerous attacks in World football. Roma made it to the round of 16 in the Europa League despite losing to Lyon Edin Dzeko was the highest goal scorer in the competition with eight goals. Roma also made it to the semi-final of the Coppa Italia. Unfortunately losing to arch-rivals Lazio. Edin Dzeko ended up winning the Golden Boot with 29 goals narrowly beating out Napoli’s Dries Mertens who had 28. He became Roma’s first player to win the Golden Boot since the legendary Roberto Pruzzo who won the Golden boot in 1985 and became only the second player to score 29 goals in a league campaign since Rodolfo Volk. Edin Dzeko scored 39 goals in all competitions the highest goal total of his entire career surpassing his 36 goal season while with Wolfsburg. In addition to that he set a record for the highest goal total in a season passing Francesco Totti 32 goals he scored in it 2008. He was a shortlist candidates FIFA Ballon d’Or given to the world’s best player. He finished 24th in the voting the next season Luciano’s Spalletti left for Inter Milan Mohamed Salah left for Liverpool and Roma lost a few other pieces. The next season Eusebio Di Francesco a former scudetto winner as Roma boss. In addition to that transfer wizard Monchi took over as a sporting director and Francesco Totti hung up his boots for the suit. This last season Edin Dzeko showed no signs of slowing down he didn’t quite reach the heights that he had reached the previous season but he still proved to be one of the best players in the world at his position.

Edin dzeko scored his 50th goal on matchday two of the Season against Inter Milan. Edin Dzeko was a huge part of Rome of success this season under eusebio di Francesco not only as a player but as a leader to youngster Cengiz Under. Roma secured a third-place finish getting back into the Champions League but the most impressive thing of the season was their run through the Champions League in Europe making the semi-finals for the first time since 1983. Roma was put in a Champions League group with Chelsea and Athletico Madrid two teams who most people thought would be the two to come out of the group. It turned out not to be the case against all the odds Roma went on to win the group. Edin dzeko scored against qarabag but highlighting edin dzeko’s play in the group was his two-goal performance against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. He scored possibly one of the best goals of the Champions League taking a volley hit from Fazio into the back of the net to leave Stanford bridge in shock. It ended up being a 3-3 draw but the game was highlighted by The Unbelievable performance of edin dzeko. Edin Dzeko did go on a scoring drought to follow that game but his performance in the Champions League cannot be underestimated. Against shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League round of 16 his goal in the second leg allowed Roma to come back as they came from behind to Advanced to the first quarter finals in 10 years with Edin Dzeko scoring the winning goal. They then were matched up against Barcelona as history would be made. Barcelona beat up Roma in the first leg despite not being the better team but Edin Dzeko scored a very important away goal. In the second leg Roma pulled off one of the biggest upsets in champions league history as Edin Dzeko early goal prompted a historical comeback Kostas manolas scoring a late header to beat Barcelona 3-0. Roma would eliminate Barcelona in a match that will now be considered one of the biggest upsets in champions league history. They made the semi-finals for the first time in 30 years largely due to the the management and tactics of Di Francesco. In the first leg of the Champions League semi-final at edin dzeko and Roma got destroyed by Liverpool losing 5-2. However Edin Dzeko away-goal turned out to be crucial. Roma went on to lose despite winning  the second leg but  were a couple refereeing decisions away from the Champions League final with Edin Dzeko scoring again. It was Edin Dzeko 4th consecutive Champions League goal. Edin dzeko scored in every elimination round as well as three goals in the group stage proving to be one of the best players in the Champions League this season. He was elected to UEFA Champions League team of the season. After their elimination from the Champions League Roma secured third place in the league to guarantee Champions League football once again. During the season edin dzeko also became the first player ever to have 50 goals in three of the top five leagues. Edin Dzeko scored 24 goals in all competitions as climbed up to 11th on Roma’s all time scoring list despite no trophy being won again Edin Dzeko is on pace to be one of the greatest goal scorers in Roman history he almost has already solidified himself as a legend. Romo got this guy for around 15 million he has scored 73 goals in three seasons his goal to game ratio in Roma history is impeccable. His time here has been a gift and we hope it continues for many years. He has given his all for this club and because of his greatness this club owes him a trophy. We don’t want edin dzeko to be one of the best players in history and not have one anyting the league title is what we want and what Edin Dzeko wants he would be one of the only players to have won a league title in three of the biggest leagues. Any trophy would solidify his greatness but if he takes his team to the very top and win this team a title ending their title drought to win their first scudetto since 2001 it would solidify himself as a Roma Legend he would be viewed as one of the best players  ever to be viewed as one of the best players to ever play for Roma. Edin Dzeko will continue to climb up the all-time scoring list and continue to break records for this club. Roma must win something for him he has shown great ambition and the Loyalty for this club. He could of left for Cheslea in Janiry but turned it down out of the love for this club. Even at 32 years old Edin Dzeko is one of the most efficient Strikers in the world he will only continue with Roma this is why the club and the City owe Edin Dzeko a league title for everything he has done for us.
